Objectives

To go deep into the analysis of the image and its effects on the individual, collective and national identity.

To shed light on the ideological struggles that delimit the definitions about the power of the image.

To discuss the image’s correlate and symmetry with the interpretations about the power of the objects, the myths, narrations, history, spaces and nationality.

During the conferences, photographs of pieces of work on identity and institutional image, carried out in more than 30 countries by Sebastián Guerrini, will be shown.

Notes written by the author will be handed in; these will develop the presented topics, as will the specific bibliography.
