The winners of the competition are a studio composed of director Sebastian Guerrini, a Communications Designer and graduate of Universidad de La Plata. Alejandra Gutierrez, a specialist in organic production and rural development, worked together with Mr. Guerrini.
After being awarded the prize Guerrini Design Island designed the brand, the institutional texts, the slogan, the photographs, the graphics and Foundation website.
The Organic World Foundation was launched publicly at the Organic World Congress in Modena, Italy. The OWF website became accessible to the public at the beginning of August 2008.
The visual identity elaborated by Mr. Guerrini symbolically represents the principles that guide those dedicated to organic agriculture.
Organic Agriculture founds itself on four basic principles. These principles are adopted in all areas of the world where organic agricultural is developed. These principles include ecology, health, care and fairness. Through global unity these principles and set of ethics sustain the organic movement and the spirit of The Foundation. They are visually represented in work environments throughout the earth and in a world that supports all people.
The photographic realism that the brand aesthetically portrays, the use of leaves as a symbol of life, the freshness of the colours, the water’s purity which is a key for life, all together show the Organic World Foundation’s desire to work so that our earth is a healthy, caring, fair and environmentally responsible place.

Guerrini Design Island continues with its tradition to work for agricultural and environment institutions and companies. In effect, it is worth noticing that presently Guerrini Design is carrying out the following projects: the re-launching of the Argentinean Movement for Organic Production; the Catalonian Recovery of Textile Materials (ecologically recycled for the construction industry); the exhibition of Eco-materials carried out in Portugal.
This concern for agricultural and environmental issues was merited in the book “Design and Sustainability” (2008, Editorial Rockpot, United States), which dedicated a chapter to the studio’s work and its ideas about the issues.
